our mission

Queen's Bench, the Multnomah County Chapter of Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS), is an independent non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the professional advancement of women and underrepresented populations, camaraderie, and good fellowship in the legal profession and the community. ​Queen's Bench was founded in 1948 by approximately 25 women lawyers who wrote a constitution, collected dues, and met monthly.
